Pavement Inspection:
Pavemetrics® Laser Crack Measurement System (LCMS®) is the ultimate single-pass 3D sensor for pavement inspection. The LCMS is able to automatically geo-tag, measure, detect and quantify all key functional parameters of pavement in a single pass, including (but not limited to): cracking, rutting, texture, potholes, bleeding, shoving, raveling and roughness.
The LCMS delivers standards-compliant and industry-proven results on more surfaces than any other sensor in the market; from hotmix asphalt to chipseal, porous pavement, and both standard and grooved (tined) concrete.
The LCMS can dramatically reduce your labor costs and project completion time; a complete 1mm resolution automated pavement condition survey can be completed day or night from 0-100+ km/h.
LCMS outputs include detailed distress data in XML format and geo-tagged pavement-view images in JPEG format.

Railway Inspection:
Pavemetrics® Laser Rail Inspection System (LRAIL™) delivers an entirely new and more cost effective means to inspect railway assets.
Most rail inspection sensors in the marketplace today are limited to a single function; they measure a specific parameter such as gauge, or perform a single task, such as imaging or tie grading.
The LRAIL delivers greater ROI by delivering a multi-functional inspection that delivers 2D imaging and 3D scanning in a single pass with fully automated analysis using Artificial Intelligence.
The LRAIL captures an impressive 1 mm X and Y, and 0.1 mm Z, resolution scan of the rails, ties and ballast area at speeds up 120 km/h.
The LRAIL’s Artificial Intelligence algorithms automatically measure and detect changes related to gauge, cross level, alignment, spikes, clips, tie plates, joint gap, joint bar bolting, rail surface wear and tie grade.

Tunnel Inspection
Pavemetrics® Laser Tunnel Scanning System (LTSS) uses multiple high-speed laser scanners to acquire both 2D images and high-resolution 3D profiles of tunnel linings.
The LTSS is 100 times faster and 10 times more accurate than typical LIDAR technology; it can scan a 12m tunnel vault at 1-mm image resolution and 3D data at acquisition speeds of up to 20km/h. Larger surfaces can be captured through multiple passes (and the images and data “stitched”) or scanning width can be increased through the addition of sensors.
Once digitized, the tunnel data can be viewed and analyzed offline by operators using multi-resolution 3D viewing and analysis software that allows for high-precision measurement of virtually any tunnel feature.
Automatic analysis software is also available to detect and rate the condition of joints, faulting, cracks, and degraded concrete as well as points of water ingress in the tunnel lining.

Airfield FOD Inspection
Pavemetrics® Laser Foreign Object Debris (LFOD) detection system uses high-speed cameras, custom optics and laser line projectors to acquire both 2D images and high-resolution 3D profiles of airport runways, taxiways and aprons in order to automatically detect even the smallest objects at highway speeds.
The LFOD system can be operated both during daytime and night-time as well as under all types of lighting conditions; surfaces lit by the sun or covered by shadows as well as various pavement types ranging from dark asphalt to concrete can be scanned at inspection speeds from 0 to 100km/h.
