“This streamlined system provides the training tools workers need to take their career to the next level,” said ATSSA Director of Training & Education Clark Thomas. “We designed this online system so it’s easy and quick to find what you need and gain the skills required to get to work.”
The new training platform enables users to register quickly, review their progress and print certificates of completion to deliver to their employers.
Plus, managers can quickly monitor employees’ completed and pending training, offering them instant insights into the training status of everyone on their team.
A video with step-by-step instructions is available to help people navigate the new training platform. The new learning management system includes the expertise of ATSSA instructors ensuring individuals and companies receive high-quality training and valuable insights as changes in the field occur, such as the release of the updated Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
“This new platform is part of a broader investment in providing the exceptional training that is a cornerstone of ATSSA’s history,” said ATSSA Vice President of Education & Technical Services Donna Clark.
While developing the training platform, ATSSA also updated and enhanced all of its online training courses, giving special attention to Flagger courses.
In the coming year, additional training updates and enhancements will be announced to further develop the expertise of workers in the roadway safety infrastructure industry.
