  • A critical limitation in current structural engineering practice is the inability to monitor actual forces at boundary conditions throughout a structure's lifecycle, due to the absence of in-situ calibration methodology. This limitation prevents reliable assessment of structural internal force distribution and comprehensive understanding of structural behavior.

TWINSA Smart Adapter made a metrological breakthrough with the world's first in-situ calibration technology of static load, enabling adaptive adjustment of structural boundary conditions. Integrated with Adaptive Digital Twin technology, the system provides realtime insights into load distribution, facilitates reliable reverse analysis and model updating, and enables proactive maintenance through early warning and automated optimization.

Case studies of TWINSA-supported bridges reveal counterintuitive findings about boundary condition dynamics, promising substantial benefits including cost reduction in both maintenance and initial investment, extended structural longevity, decreased carbon footprint, and enhanced return on investment.
