Brown Bear Corporation builds 4 sizes of Self Contained compost aerator attachments for installation on wheel loaders via a quick couple-quick disconnect hitch system. The aerators are sized to the wheel loader based on the GVW and width over the tires of the wheel loader. The aerators can be installed on any brand of wheel loader and used with any brand of quick coupler hitch system.
Use Brown Bear aerators for aeration of compost windrows, turning waste water or potable water sludge for drying and for bioremediation aeration work. The attachments are built for minimum maintenance and maximum up time availability. The mixing rotors are fitted with abrasion resitant bolt-on replaceable wearing tips for easy change out. The mixing rotor moves the complete windrow down to the surface of the pad, aerating and displacing the windrow to the right as it passes through the windrow completely exposing all elements of the windrow to air and oxygen.
The aerators are powered by Tier 4F Cummins diesel engines. Power from the Cummins diesel to the rotor is via a closed loop hydrostatic system. The operator controls the aerator via blue tooth radio controls. Each aerator is totally Self Contained with it's own Cummins power unit, fuel tank, cooling system, hydraulic and hydrostatic system and optional rotary screen on the radiator-charge air cooler intake. No hard wiring or plumbing between the aerator and the wheel loader is required.
Time to install or remove the aerator from the wheel loader is about 10 minutes allowing the wheel loader to perform other duties during a work shift.
