Icosagen offers custom-tailored services for antibody development and recombinant protein production. We use patented state-of-the-art technologies to deliver high quality products to biopharmaceutical and diagnostic companies. E.g. we can produce and purify recombinant cardiac troponin complex (cTnC-cTnI-cTnT) from mammalian cells.
We develop recombinant antibodies by isolating variable regions directly from B-cells of immunized rabbits, and chicken (or from other sources e.g. hybridomas). This approach allows to deliver 1 mg of high affinity monoclonal antibodies together with sequence information as fast as 12 weeks.
For recombinant protein production, we use patented stable episomal expression system, where expression vectors are maintained at few hundred copies per mammalian cell. This enables to produce antibodies/antigens in gram-scale and generate production cell banks within 10 days after the transfection.
