Multiple tube sizes are accepted, and capped tubes are poured into the Bulk Loader for walk-away processing. The SARSTEDT BL 1200 SORT CONNECT is a pre-analytical accessioning and sorting instrument that can be connected to analyzer lines. Multiple tube sizes are accepted, and capped tubes are simply poured into the Bulk Loader for walk-away processing, eliminating manual sorting and pre-racking. Tubes are automatically singularized and identified by tube type and barcode.

Based on customized sort and distribution rules, tubes are placed into targeted analyzer racks, and a robot arm transfers them to the laboratory line. Balancing tubes are added to partially filled racks for centrifugation. Samples not destined for the laboratory line are placed into racks or bins for manual extraction. Up to 1,200 tubes can be processed per hour.

Available in 250 µl and 500 µl options, Microvette® APT tubes have K₂EDTA preparation, standardized 13 x 75 mm dimensions with ample barcode label space, and a robust sealing cap with pierceable membrane for direct sampling.

The Microvette^® APT 250 features an end-to-end capillary for a precise 250 µl blood sample. The Microvette^® APT 500 enables collection of 250-500 µl using the entire tube rim. After collection, the membrane cap attaches securely to the tube with an audible click. Microvette^® APT tubes meet the P 650 leak-testing requirements for shipment and are compatible with the SARSTEDT Tempus600^® and pneumatic transport systems.
