Every aspect of the pump design can be specified, from materials for the housing and diaphragms to specialist connections and valves. The first prototype can be produced within a very short timeframe for examination and testing. Working in unison with Burkert’s Systemhaus, pumps can be integrated with wider micro-fluidic process control designs. Working directly with customers, Schwarzer engineers create bespoke designs that can be turned into prototypes within a couple of days. Burkert’s development process fine-tunes the design of the pump and its integration with the manifold, or process component to create the initial assembly. Coupled with Burkert’s micro range of process control components, customers can create precision instruments with a minimal footprint and whisper quiet.
