Chest pain/tightness consume more than 3 billion dollars in US hospital expenditures annually. Yet, a recent study found that only 0.4% of patients with chest pain either died or were diagnosed with AMI within 30 days. More than 99% of those patients didn’t need to endure the long ER waits, duplicative testing and exorbitant medical bills costing up to 12 times more than regular physician visits. These unnecessary visits produce annual medical wastes of more than 32 billion. Our home testing solution provides an alternative scenario: do home tests and call a telehealth physician for the right health decision in only 15 minutes.
