  Caplugs Evergreen offers a wide range of labware products including microplates, tubes and vials, cuvettes, liquid handling, racks and trays, columns, specimen collections and containers. Our complete labware line is produced at our facility in Rancho Dominguez, CA, where we have injection molding, vinyl dip molding and die cutting with full production and logistics support.

  Caplugs Evergreen offers a wide range of labware products, including plastic consumables appropriate for use in all types of laboratories.

  Microplates & Deep Well Plates

  • A standard tool in research and clinical diagnostic testing, applications range from cell and tissue cultures, cell biology studies, DNA analysis and protein analysis, to routine chemistry, drug screens, immunoassays and high-throughput drug discovery screening. Our microplates are available for most applications in various materials, number of wells, sterilization status and cell surface treatments.

  20 mL Vials

  • Our 20 mL vials are constructed of high-clarity polypropylene co-polymer (PPC) with high-density polyethylene screw caps. Our vials have a wide-mouth opening for ease of use and the clarity of polypropylene material provides for clear visibility of the contents. Its octagonal-shaped base, which locks into its associated tray, allows for easy one-handed capping and eliminates accidental knockovers during use.

  30 mL & 50 mL Centrifuge Tube Containers

  • Our 30- and 50-mL centrifuge tubes are ideal for general laboratory analysis, specimen collection and transport, or as leak-proof secondary containers. The tubes are available in sterile, non-sterile, freestanding and conical versions, with each tube being tested to 95kPa for optimal sealing assurance.

  CryoSure® & MST™ Cryogenic Vials

  • CryoSure® vials and MST™ tubes both feature external threads with straight vertical inside walls for easy access, convenient processing and sample retrieval. The specially selected polypropylene co-polymer (PPC) is almost transparent and provides excellent tensile strength at low temperatures.

  Caplugs Evergreen offers a wide range of labware products, including consumable products for the collection, preservation, transport and processing of cells, tissues and other specimens.

  Press-Lid, Screw-Lid, & Histoware™ Vials Specimen Containers

  • Our wide-mouth specimen containers are available with either a press-lid or screw-lid and designed for storing biological fluids and pathology specimens. The containers are highly resistant to most chemicals – including formaldehyde – most bases and weak acids. Our Histoware™ vials are specimen containers with screwcap lids and are available empty or prefilled with 10% buffered formalin. Each size of prefilled vials contains half the nominal capacity of preservative with a molded-in sealing ring cap to prevent leakage.

  Slide-Fix™ Slide Jars

  • Our patented slide jar container can fix, protect and transport your slides all in one. The Slide-Fix™ slide jars are made of a strong and nearly transparent polypropylene co-polymer (PPC) and available empty or prefilled with 95% ethyl alcohol. Prefilled Slide-Fix™ slide jars are useful for a variety of applications, including the preservation and transport of pap smear slides and post-surgical tissues.

  Processing/Embedding Cassettes

  • Our processing/embedding cassettes are used to hold tissue specimens during embedding, processing, sectioning and storage. The high-density material helps prevent floating and is resistant to most histological solvents. Biopsy cassettes have 1 mm drain holes to minimize the need to wrap smaller specimens and prevent sample loss, while maximizing fluid exchange and providing proper drainage.

  Serum Sample Cups

  • Used in the analysis of a wide variety of samples, our serum sample cups are compatible with automated chemistry analyzers. Our cups and tubes range in capacity from 0.5 mL to 8.5 mL. Sample cup materials include polystyrene, polyethylene and polypropylene to accommodate different chemicals. The different colors offered allow match to color-coding standards, controls, STATs and patient samples.

  Cuvettes

  • Our standard cuvettes are precision-molded from premium grade polystyrene or UV transmittable (UVT) acrylic. Our round cuvettes are made from borosilicate glass and are designed to fit with Abbott TDx. Polystyrene cuvettes transmit between 75-80% of light energy from 380-750 nm and are useful to 340 nm, where over 70% of the light energy is transmitted. UVT acrylic cuvettes are useful to 280 nm, where over 50% of the light energy is transmitted.

  5” & 7” Chromatography Columns

  • Our 5” and 7” columns are used in general chromatographic work for extraction of components, with special applications in isoenzyme and protein studies, hemoglobin fractionation and desalting. Our chromatography columns are precision-molded from premium-grade, chemically inert plastics and include reservoir caps and end caps. Additional polyethylene filter matrix supports are included in one of three available porosities.

  Caplugs Evergreen offers a wide range of labware products, including patented specialized products for the collection and processing of microbiological samples.

  InocuLoop™ Single-Use Inoculating Loops

  • Our inoculating loop design features a patented, four-sided spreader – like four streakers in one. The four surfaces of the spreader end in an apex and can also be used as a built-in picker for isolating colonies. These pre-sterilized InocuLoops™ are gamma irradiated, saving the time when metal loops are unavailable or not suitable, such as anaerobic chambers, in the field and in satellite testing.

  95-Pin Inoculation Assembly & Inoculum Trays

  • Our 95-pin inoculator can be used to simultaneously pick up 95 samples and transfer them into or from a regular 96-well format microplate or an inoculum tray. Primarily used for antimicrobial susceptibility testing, urine cultures and subcultures of bacterial colonies, the 95-pin inoculator is also useful in cell/tissue cultures, cytotoxicity testing and serial dilutions in serological studies as a pipettor.

  FPC® Fecal Parasite Concentrators

  • Our patented concentrators isolate helminth eggs and larvae, protozoan cysts, coccidian oocysts and microsporidian spores. The easy-to-use system provides clean sediment for microscopic examination and requires minimal processing time. The concentrator system is leak-proof, self-contained, leaves no mess and minimizes odor.

  Sputocol™ Sputum Collection System

  • Our patented Sputocol™ collection system is a self-contained device for collecting, transporting, and processing sputum. Designed so that the collection tube is not in contact with the patient or the laboratory personnel during the collection process until capped, the inside edge of the funnel brings the specimen directly into the sterile collection tube and prevents contact with the tube rim.
