Now includes ePV – The Stat Profile Prime Plus^® is a comprehensive, whole blood critical care analyzer offering blood gases, electrolytes, metabolites, hematology, and co-oximetry testing in a simple, compact device. Prime Plus helps clinicians assess patient intravascular volume, acid base balance, blood oxygenation, oxygen carrying capacity of blood, tissue hypoxia, electrolyte balance, kidney function, and glucose control in 1 minute from 2 drops of blood. The analyzer uses as little as 90µL of sample and supplements liquid quality controls with automated real-time electronic quality control monitoring. Complete test menu: pH, PCO2, PO2, Na, K, Cl, iCa, iMg, Glucose, Lactate, BUN/Urea, Creatinine, eGFR, Hct, Hb, ePV, MCHC, SO2%, CO-Oximetry.

StatStrip Glucose has no known interferences and brings lab-like accuracy to bedside glucose testing— accuracy validated in an FDA submission study of 1,698 critically ill patients with 257 different and specific medical conditions, and over 8,000 medications, as well as over 180 published studies worldwide. StatStrip Glucose measures glucose and corrects for hematocrit, maltose, and other interferences that can cause erroneous results on other meters. Use of any other glucose meter with critically ill patients is considered an off-label use under FDA regulations.
