Quality and Safety
We’re working to improve patient safety and health care quality in obstetrics and gynecology.
Inpatient Health Care Quality Reviews
ACOG’s Voluntary Review of Quality of Care program assists facilities throughout the country by performing comprehensive assessments of their obstetric and gynecologic care and providing meaningful analysis and recommendations.

Quality and Safety Initiatives Delegation
Our Quality and Safety Initiatives (QSI) Delegation serves as a direct line of communication between members in ACOG Districts and ACOG national to exchange ideas, develop resources, and workshop proposals related to quality and patient safety topics in obstetric and gynecologic care.
The QSI Delegation's work focuses on developing quality and safety resources and educational content to meet the needs of ACOG Districts and to inform quality and safety projects and efforts conducted by ACOG. The delegation consists of three volunteer leaders (one Junior Fellow, one Early-Career Fellow at Large, and one Fellow) from each of ACOG’s 12 Districts.
If you have questions about the QSI Delegation, please email our team at [email protected].
