36th International Geological Congress
India, in association with Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will host the 36th International Geological Congress in Delhi, India during 2-8 March 2020. The theme of the Congress is Geosciences: The Basic Science for a Sustainable Future.
The Congress will have 44 geoscientific themes, over 50 exciting field excursions, and an impressive Geoexposition by leading global agencies. It is expected to have around 3500 oral and 2000 e-poster presentations.
IGCs are quadrennial global geoscientific events held under the aegis of IUGS. Popularly known as the Olympics of geosciences, the event is known for its high attendance and quality scientific programs.
