GEODE (Google Earth for Onsite and Distance Education) is an NSF-funded project focused on developing and testing web-based geoscience teaching modules. Featuring virtual field trips, GigaPan tours of geological features, and an interactive online quiz, GEODE products offer many resources for the high school and undergraduate college classroom.
