Desert Research Institute
The Desert Research Institute (DRI) is a recognized world leader in investigating the effects of environmental change and the application of knowledge and new technologies. DRI conducts cutting-edge applied research in atmospheric, earth and ecosystems, and hydrologic sciences across Nevada, the United States and on all seven continents. DRI employs more than 500 scientists, engineers, students and staff who work in over 60 specialized labs on two campuses in Reno and Las Vegas.
