GNS Science is New Zealand's leading research Institute for Earth, geoscience and isotope research and consultancy services. Our work centres around four Themes: Natural Hazards and Risks, Environment and Climate, Land and Marine Geoscience, and Energy Futures for the benefit of New Zealand. Some of our labs offer commercial services with our Rafter Radiocarbon Lab providing services to clients for >65 years with a current focus on applications such as atmospheric CO2, the modern carbon cycle, global environmental change, paleoclimate, & paleohazard events. Along with our world leading water dating and stable isotope labs, with our focus on the quality and repeatablity of results our clients can have complete confidence in our services.
