The award winning pE-300 Series is a range of LED Illumination Systems for Fluorescence, Optogenetics, Electrophysiology and high speed microscopy applications. It comprises 3 systems providing a solution that covers a range of everyday fluorescence microscopy; from the simple pE-300^lite through the classic  pE-300^white to the highly controllable pE-300^ultra.

The NEW Enhanced pE-300 Series now offers;

LED illumination means no mercury to dispose of and lower energy costs due to low power consumption and the precise control offered. With the launch of our enhanced pE-300 Series, we are extremely proud to announce that, with all 3 channels at full power, all models use just 46 Watts. That is almost a quadruple efficiency increase!

This compares to other LED technology that uses 120 to 350 Watts. This leap forward in technology makes LEDs more attractive when compared to old Mercury or Metal Halide technology.  Where “green” funding is available, the reduction in institutional energy usage improves the return on investment.

CoolLED is delighted to announce the release of the pT-100 in December 2019. This is a family of Single Channel Light Sources for the Transmitted Port of your microscope. The main applications for this new development are Phase Contrast and Differential Interference Contrast (DIC). We are seeking Test Sites for the pT-100 during the months of September and October on a limited number of Pre-Production units which we would provide free of charge for a limited test period.

In addition to the successful broad spectrum white transmitter light source pE-100^wht established on the market for many years, we will add variants with single excitation wavelengths 525, 635 and 770nm.

We would in return seek feedback on features such as intensity control and homogeneity and benefits such as contrast, signal to noise, reduced photobleaching, improved cell viability and safety.

The new single wavelength 525nm, 635nm and 770nm pT-100 models are Phosphor-free and UV-free and address the issue of sample auto fluorescence with in-situ Phosphored LEDs. Instant On/Off would remove the need to shutter and there would be no need to filter to pT-100 single wavelength variants.

To ensure the correct application of the pT-100 we would need to know the likely filters that would be used and how you are viewing samples either Visually or by which Camera (Monochrome/SCMOS/Colour).

The flexible CoolLED pE-4000 is a future-proof light source for your fluorescence microscopy. Whether your research is yet to dictate the wavelength or control approach you need or you are a core facility manager needing to support a range of demanding users, the pE-4000 puts the widest fluorophore coverage in your hands.

Now, with CoolLED’s award-winning sustainable Green technology, all this is possible with a maximum power consumption of just 60 watts.
