Paltown Development Foundation
PALTOWN's mission is to empower patients and caregivers by creating disease-specific communities to address information needs and social isolation through training, technology, and community leadership. PALTOWN manages the COLONTOWN colorectal cancer community, serving over 4,000 patients, survivors, and caregivers. COLONTOWN offers members 150 "neighborhoods" focused on everything from clinical trials to young onset crc. PALTOWN is working to create communities for other disease spaces, and to build its corps of trained patient leaders, who put their experience to work for their peers.
