Our mission is empowering patients and caregivers by creating disease-specific communities to address information needs and social isolation through training, technology, and developing purpose-driven community leadership. PALTOWN supports and manages COLONTOWN, our online colorectal cancer community, provides community leadership training for patient and carepartner volunteers, and works to educate community members about treatment options and clinical trials. PALTOWN’s broader mission is to create similar communities for other disease spaces, and to train an expanding corps of community leaders who will ensure the growing impact of these communities, to the direct benefit of their members....
