ABC Global Alliance - Who we are
The ABC Global Alliance is a is a multi-stakeholder platform for all those interested in collaborating on common projects relating to advanced breast cancer (ABC) around the world. We are made up of people and organisations (scientific organization, patient advocacy groups, individuals, corporate organizations, policy makers) who are committed to develop, promote and support tangible improvements that will ultimately create awareness and actions that will improve and extend the lives of patients living with ABC worldwide.
The ABC Global Charter, a booklet created to address gaps in care, access to resources and support and treatment outcomes for patients with ABC, recognized as a tool to drive action and help to work together towards common and achievable goals and translated in more than 15 languages (further information at https://www.abcglobalalliance.org/abc-global-charter/).
Among the initiatives developed in 2020 we have launched a global campaign to raise awareness about the underserved advanced breast cancer (ABC) population centred around a film featuring first-hand accounts of the injustices experienced by real people living with ABC (short film available at https://www.abcglobalalliance.org/we-are-advanced-breast-cancer/).
