Board of Pharmacy Specialties
The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) is an autonomous Division of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), founded in 1976. Eleven specialties are recognized by BPS, including the Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP) credential, which merged into the BPS portfolio at the beginning of 2017. The BCGP credential is designed to recognize pharmacists with expertise in the care of older adults. The value of this credential will only increase as the population of older adults continues to increase. BPS is also launching the Board Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacist (BCSCP) credential in 2019. Stop by the booth to learn more!
