Foundation for Women and Girls with Blood Disorders
FWGBD is an innovative organization dedicated to achieving correct diagnosis, treatment and management of blood disorders and accompanying reproductive problems in women and girls. The disorders of concern include von Willebrand Disease (VWD), other factor deficiencies, thrombophilias, hemoglobinopathies, sickle cell disease (SCD), immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) and anemias. FWGBD works to achieve its goal through raising awareness and educating healthcare providers across disciplines.
