Vasc-Alert is an access surveillance device that uses data from your center’s EMR for every treatment session to calculate the intra-access pressure in the vascular access. If the pressure exceeds the FDA cleared threshold for three consecutive treatments, the patient is at risk for thrombosis. By preventing thrombosis, the life of the access can be prolonged, reducing catheter use and hospitalization. Weekly actionable information provided to the facility staff enables early referral to a vascular specialist for preventative care in a timely manner.
