Japanese Society of Nephrology
Originally founded in 1959, the Japanese Society of Nephrology (JSN) has
evolved into a large academic society with more than ten thousand members.
The mission is to improve practice and promote study in Nephrology and
related fields. To achieve this, the JSN conducts a wide range of activities
both in scientific and clinical aspects. These include holding annual
meetings, producing regular journals, coordinating clinical and basic
researches. The JSN also has been promoting cooperation with related
societies in Japan, as well as international societies, such as ISN, ASN,
ERA-EDTA, and APSN.
