ColdStash  

While we support labs that prefer traditional storage systems, ColdStash’s VitroStash and VitroStash MAX are designed to help customers increase storage capacity, limit the amount of dewars, alarms, and LN2 purchased, reduce costs per patient, and allow labs to grow without concern for space constraints or off site storage.  Where a traditional 47L dewar stores 192 patients, a 47L VitroStash system stores 384 patients, and a 95L VitroStash MAX stores 960 patients.

Most importantly, the solid bottom VitroStash canisters hold LN2 rather than immediately draining like other canisters, providing the user continuous LN2 immersion during handling or transferring, ensuring specimens are kept in cryogenic conditions at all times and eliminating exposure to ambient temperature.

Both the AccuStash and AccuStash+ provide piece-of-mind, knowing that dewars are properly filled to maintain desired temperatures at all times.  Both units  have a liquid level detecting probe, programmable delay and mute periods, audio and visual alarms, rechargeable battery backup, tool-less spring loaded connectors, SPDT relay outputs, and are compatible with most in-house security or alarm systems.  Where the AccuStash+ differs from the AccuStash is twofold: a) its additional probe that rests on the outside of the dewar detects any potential vacuum breach, alerting the user immediately of catastrophic failure if dewar vacuum is compromised, and b) allows for up to four tanks per alarm unit.
