SpaceOAR Vue™ Hydrogel is the second-generation version of SpaceOAR™ Hydrogel designed to provide clinicians, practices and patients with the added benefit of visibility under CT Imaging. Both SpaceOAR and SpaceOAR Vue are intended to create a space between the prostate gland and the rectum (the Organ At Risk, OAR), helping to reduce the radiation dose delivered to the rectum during prostate radiation therapy. Some physicians desire the convenience of product visualization under CT. SpaceOAR Vue Hydrogel has been created to address these needs by providing a product that can be visualized under CT imaging.
