Alpha DaRT (Diffusing Alpha-emitters Radiation Therapy) is an innovative technology developed by Alpha Tau Medical. It enables a highly potent alpha-irradiation of solid tumors. Treatment is delivered by intratumoral insertion of radionuclide Radium-224 leading to diffusion of daughter radioisotopes that emit alpha particles and destroy tumors.
