The Angora goats are not raised and slaughtered for their hides. They lived a long happy life roaming freely on succulent pastures producing mohair and Angora kids. They lived naturally on an animal compassionate farm with 200 Angora herd mates. Fleeces are shorn twice each year to make high-end mohair yarn for the fashion industry. With age, their feet were weak and sore, It lost its teeth and couldn’t graze and eat adequately to sustain life, so rather than let it expire, the meat was harvested for human consumption and its spirit continues with its lustrous coat being appreciated by you and yours.
