Proper extension cords are a must at the Dulles Expo Center. The fire marshal does a walk thru prior to show opening to make sure extension cords are complaint. Use UL listed surge protectors/power strip and extension cords must be 14 gauge or higher.
Electricity do’s and don’t
All food/beverage booths must complete the Sample/Sell form and submit to the Dulles Expo Center. You do not need to pay a sampling fee.

Artist Promotions
Artist Online Listing - As a participating Artisan, you receive a FREE online directory listing. The listing is where patrons go to plan their visit and search for artisans and their products. The online artisan list can be found here.

click here. Please note, the online artisan profile needs to be updated prior to {add date here for information on your booth to be included in the full color printed artisan guide. Artisan profiles are not rolled over from one festival to another and need to be updated to reflect the updated inventory that you will be selling for the Winter Festival.
Artist Directory and Shopping Guide - At the festival, all participating artisans will be included in the printed "Artist Directory and Shopping Guide", which will be distributed to all patrons attending the festival. Included will the artist name, city/state, website, booth number, medium, specials, and pictures of your art. This information will be taken from your online directory listing on November 4th, so be sure to update your listing before then.
Post Cards - Information will be sent separately.
Artist Spotlights on Social Media - Pick a high-res picture of your favorite art piece or product and send it to us with short description, your web address and social media channels. We’ll be promoting it on the CACF social media channels. Email to us at capitalcraftfairs@spargoinc.com.
Free Tickets - Each artist will receive a code for 50 free tickets to pass out to their clients. The codes will be distributed in November.

We do not sell/rent our attendee list. We have a room block at the Holiday Inn Chantilly Dulles Expo with a rate of $74 plus tax. Hotel information is above and on our website. Beware if you receive solicitation to buy/rent an attendee list or to reserve hotel rooms those are NOT from Capital Art and Craft Festivals or Spargo, Inc.
