I make hand forged knives and axes, household and hearth implements, and tools by heating steel in a fire and forging at an anvil. I draw inspiration from historic designs, add my own creative style and create what I hope will one day become heirlooms. Born and raised in Burlington, Vermont, I received a Masters in Geology. I married and settled in Monterey Massachusetts, where I have lived and worked for over 25 years as a blacksmith, firefighter and farmer.
