A medium crossbody bag, I used salvaged blue leather to create a useful bag that's perfect for work, weekends, school or a trip to the grocery store.
The bag measures 10.5 inches high by 10.5 inches wide and is complete with an internal pocket for keys or phones. The top has a metal zipper with black binding and a leather tassel attached on the side that can be removed.
The crossbody strap is made from two recycled leather belts with the hardware still attached, so the length can easily be adjusted from 46 inches to 50 inches. The adjustable strap is secured with multiple rivets on both sides. The belts are pre-loved and will get softer with use.
This bag is created from scrap leather that I purchased as leftovers from a furniture company that would otherwise become trash. When I make the bags, all seams are double sewn and riveted at the bottom inside corners as well as the top of the internal pocket for a hearty bag that lasts. All external rivets are reinforced with extra leather.
