As a watercolor artist, I strive to create finely crafted original artworks that express the beauty of the natural nautical world. I use multiple layers of watercolor, in my attempts to capture the subject matter’s natural complexity. Taking advantage of the compositions negative space, I often choose to emphasized the subject’s richness by presenting it on a stark, white background.
