Living in the Outer Banks in the mid 90’s, my inspiration came from the ocean and the vast array of colors and textures that it offers. That theme continues to be a large part of my work. Living in Central Virginia has been nagging at my creativity to work with the textures I love in noncoastal themes. So now I also have fun with the ever-changing inspirations that surround me on my farm. My work includes both functional stoneware pieces and decorative earthenware wall art.
