Virginia Soaps & Scents began as a homeschool project with the 9 Spargur children in 2007. What was was supposed to be a single chemistry project has become a full time business. Our heart and soul is our handcrafted artisan soaps from our own recipes but we now have an entire line of natural skin care, hair care, bath and cleaning products. We are constantly adding new products and experimenting with new formulations. Our fall shows will highlight a line of specialty Christmas soaps.

  • 1776 Artisan Soap
    Handcrafted shampoo, shower and shave bar. Made from the oils of coconut, palm, olive, and castor....

    • The hallmark of Virginia Soaps & Scents is our complicated artisan soap designs. 1776 is the one we are proudest of. All of our soap bars are shampoo, shower and shave. The 1776 fragrance is Apples & Sage. We offer bulk soap deals... price range $5 to $5.95.
  • Organic Liquid Castile Soap
    Coconut, olive and castor oil liquid soap handcrafted in small batches....

    • Our liquid castiles are available in four fragrances; Lavender, Rain, Apples & Sage, White Tea & Ginger. A liquid castile is a multi-use product. It can be used head to toe for everything from hand washing to shampoo to shower soap. Can be used for fine washables. Available with dispenser lid, foamer top or pump.

  • New Zealand Wool Dryer Balls
    Our dryer balls are 100% lambs wool, wet felted by hand....

    • Dryer balls eliminate the need for dryer sheets by mechanically keeping the clothes fluffed up to decrease drying time. They hold the humidity up in the dryer, thus helping eliminate static... and they last for years!
  • Honeybee Lotion Bars
    Solid beeswax lotion made with palm, coconut and olive oils blended with natural yellow beeswax....

    • The solid Honeybee Lotion Bar is the heaviest, most healing lotion in our skin care line. As a "barrier lotion"" it lays down a protective coating on the skin. Beeswax is naturally antibacterial and antifungal. Bars available in tin or push tube.
  • 2020 Christmas Soaps
    A seasonal tradition at Virginia Soaps & Scents. Limited edition Christmas Artisan Soaps....

    • Every year Virginia Soaps & Scents creates a "Fragrance of Christmas" line of soaps. This year features; The Grinch, Christmas Eve, Peppermint, Apples & Sage, and Clove Orange. These are limited and go quickly!
