I started painting a long time ago, then I discovered glass flamework. Melting glass is challenging but with practice, and better understanding of "cause and effect", amazing results can be achieved. For example a very realistic, 3-dimensional flower may be created using the implosion technique. the use of twisted color glass will add variegation and beauty to

 Products

  • Floral Pendants
These are flameworked glass pendants featuring an imploded 3-dimensional flower or a flower garden in the classic "millefiori" Venitian style...

  • Dots of colored glass are applied on the clear glass surface. Using a torch mixing oxygen and propane, the dots are melted, then "imploded" into the glass to create a 3-dimensional effect. A very realistic flower emerges....
  • African Women Pendant
I love the simplicity and expressiveness of African designs. Inspired by African women statues, I have created these glass pendants that symbolize friendship, motherhood or just simply glorify women!...

  • Using a rod of black glass, i pulled a stringer which i used as a pen to melt figures into the glass using a torch to melt the glass as I "draw". I then twist glass of different colors to create interesting dresses. These designs require a very steady hand... The effect can be compromised with the slightest hand shake
  • Glass Hearts Pendants
    Swirly colorful glass heart pendants...

  • I used colored glass rods which I twisted, then shaped into hearts. A fun process where the glass is shaped under the heat of a torch....
  • Glass Bead necklaces
Colorful and happy, the home-made beads guarantee a truly unique product!...

  • I make beads using soft glass (aka murano, italian style glass) which i wrap and rotate around a mandrel. There are unlimited opportunities associated with the colors and designs applied to each bead. Fun to make and such a pleasant outcome!
  • Yellow imploded flower stud glass earrings
These are truly unique: I miniaturized the implosion technique to make perfect spring flower earrings....

  • This is not easy! i use a rod of yellow glass, then implode 8 dots of white into it, The challenges are multiple: to lay the dots perfectly symetrically... Imploded them whithout any slant, then create a second one that matches!!! I do not use any mold to shape these. I am very proud of this product!

I use borosilicate glass, made in America exclusively.
