I create jewelry from reclaimed metal objects. I aim to show surprising transformations, and to make upcycling irresistible. Using a variety of metalsmith techniques, I rigorously rework old silver flatware pieces, salvaged motorcycle fender trim, and more. Throughout, I strive to keep the original metal objects recognizable within the new creation. The finished piece thus tells a story of transformation from a mundane and forgotten object to a lustrous, functional contemporary jewelry piece.
