Using hardwoods and laminations of hardwoods, my wife and I design our prices. The Wood is ripped on a table saw, glued, planed, and cut on a bandsaw using patterns we design. After sanding all prices are soaked in linseed oil to create a finished product.

    Trivet/rack this trivet made from laminated hardwoods, expands to form a large trivet or separates for two trivets. It also wedges together to form a rack that can be a wine rack, fruit holder, cook book holders or holder for many things....

    • All products are designed and produced by Kara Wood Designs (John and Carol Kara) using both foreign and domestic hardwoods.  The production includes ripping on a table saw, gluing, planing, cutting our designs on a band saw.  The finish work involves sanding and soaking in boiled linseed oil.  All designs are original.
