After throwing each form, I decide whether to carve into them to expose the layers of clay beneath or to leave them alone in their fully natural condition or to continue to alter the design into a sculpture. My goal is to constantly find new ways to express my feelings in these 3D forms. Most recently I have added a 5th clay body to my work called Hawaiian Red, now I have stoneware from across the entire United States. The collection represents the cohesiveness and the beauty of us all.
