Baptist University College of Osteopathic Medicine (BUCOM) is part of the Baptist Memorial Health Care (BMHC) system which is one of the largest health care systems and the largest provider of Medicaid in the region. Baptist serves West Tennessee, East Arkansas, and Mississippi with 24 affiliated hospitals, a medical group with over 800 physicians, graduate medical education programs, clinical research, and a university with undergraduate and graduate programs.
