Sessions of Interest
A Meet the Professor (MTP) breakfast session on Integrating the SSO/ESSO Global Curriculum into Your International Training Program will take place on Friday, March 17, 2017. This MTP session is for international training program directors and professors who have expressed great interest in integrating the concepts and competencies from the Global Curriculum into their own existing or future surgical oncology training programs. This MTP breakfast session is an opportunity for interactive discussion with a thought-leader on the specific topic outlined. The number of attendees permitted to register for each MTP session is limited to provide an intimate experience. Breakfast is included with your registration. Separate Registration & Fee Required.
A Joint SSO/JSGS Symposium on the Current Challenges in the Management of Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasms of the Pancreas will take place on Thursday, March 16, 2017. The management of patients with IPMN is highly controversial and consensus guidelines are rapidly evolving. This session will focus on the risks of operative and non-operative treatment of patients with IPMN and the reasons for and against surgical resection.
Discounted registration rates will apply to SSO International Members and attendees residing in middle income and third world countries based on World Bank Classification.
