Focused Pavilions

  1.   Autonomous Vehicle Showcase
  2.   Risk and Resilience Row
  3.   Transformative Technologies Interchange

Autonomous Vehicle Showcase

Exhibitors who produce autonomous vehicles for commercial or private use will have the opportunity to demonstrate the use of their vehicles to an audience of transportation professionals and researchers—including those from federal, state, and local Departments of Transportation. The showcase includes shared access to a demonstration track, plus a 20’ x 20’ booth in close proximity to the track.

Risk and Resilience Row

This area is ideal for solutions providers seeking to educate attendees interested in engineering and techniques to prepare and plan for, absorb, recover from, or more successfully adapt to actual or potential adverse events. Participants will offer solutions to all hazards resulting in a system failure, including natural or weather hazards like extreme heat on aviation and railroads, tidal surges resulting in nuisance flooding of commercial hubs, designing resilient roadways in flood plain zones, and malicious physical and cyber attackers with the intent to disrupt transportation networks and communities. Exhibitors will share practices that are used to prioritize assets, train employees to prepare for and to quickly recover from disruptions, to manage highly varied stakeholder groups, and to strengthen performance after a disruptive event. Participants will educate attendees on the resources for moderating threats, stopping cyber-attackers, adapting to change, and methods for assessing environmental impact on transportation and infrastructure assets

Transformative Technologies Interchange

This dedicated area will feature organizations seeking to educate attendees on the emerging technologies related to the deployment of automated vehicles and shared mobility services. Exhibitors will highlight technologies that increase safety, reduce congestion, enhance accessibility, increase environmental and energy sustainability, and encourage economic development and equity.
