 Press Releases

  • The HI-TRAC® TMU4xLS is a high-speed traffic data collection system.
It records vehicle loop signature classification and identifies each of the
    13 FHWA classification categories.

The HI-TRAC® TMU4xLS incorporates embedded Ethernet with TCP/IP
stack, VPN and FTP as well as 8GB data storage and thus provides
high-end functionality at a reasonable cost.

The standard configuration of one inductive loop or two inductive loops
for greater accuracy installed in the highway per lane provide
classification of each vehicle into the 13 FHWA categories.

The system can be used as a statistical data device to record highway
traffic loading and/or it can also be used as a device providing
ATMS/Pems data to a central system.

The HI-TRAC® TMU4xLS can be interfaced to traffic signals,
diversion signs, camera systems, weather stations and air quality
sensors to interface with your ITS applications.
It uses Q-Free’s advanced loop-profiling techniques which have been
devloped over the last 15 years to improve vehicle classification
accuracy and, used to supply a fall back system to your axle
    classification sites.
