At the TRIS booth, TRB’s research databases will be demonstrated: • TRID—the TRIS and lTRD Database (trid.trb.org)— contains more than 1.2 million records of published research covering all modes and disciplines of transportation. • The Research in Progress (RiP) website (rip.trb.org) provides a database of current or recently completed transportation research projects and an alerting service of new projects in specified subject areas. Registered users may also enter projects in the database. • The TRB Publications Index (pubsindex.trb.org) contains records for all papers, articles, reports, and conference proceedings published by the Transportation Research Board, the Highway Research Board, the Strategic Highway Research Program, and the Marine Board from 1923 to today. • The Research Needs Statement (RNS) Database (rns.trb.org) is a searchable database of research problems or needs developed by TRB’s technical committees. • The new Transportation Research Thesaurus (TRT) website (trt.trb.org), now with customized exports, responsive design and Hot Topics on popular transportation subjects.
