Visa Information
The process of obtaining a visa to attend meetings in the U.S. takes much longer than in the past. You are strongly urged to apply for a visa as early as possible.
If you would like to request an invitation letter from the Society of Surgical Oncology for your visa application, you must first register and pay in full for the meeting. To obtain a visa invitation letter, have your registration confirmation number available and visit the visa link in your registration confirmation email.

Getting to/from the Airport
O'Hare International Airport, located 17 miles from downtown, is one of the largest airports in the world. It is North America's major international gateway airport, servicing over 67 million passengers to and from over 200 destinations around the globe.
A mere 10 miles from downtown, Midway is a premier point-to-point airport, offering travel to 81 destinations with approximately 265 daily departures.
The approximate fare to the downtown area is $50 from O'Hare International Airport and $30 from Midway International Airport.
