OUTBOUND SHIPPING
While ASCO and Freeman are waving material handling fees for moving your materials within McCormick Place, your organization is responsible for payment related to shipping materials to and from Chicago. If you have materials that you would like shipped back to your office at the close of the Meeting, there are three options to do so. Please note, your organization is responsible for taking your return shipment to these locations.
1. You may take your shipment with you when you leave McCormick Place and then ship out via the carrier of your choice.
2. The FedEx Office at McCormick Place, located on level 2.5 of the South Building and just below the Exhibit Hall, is available to handle outgoing FedEx packages.
- You will be responsible for taking your materials to the FedEx Office
- Please be aware that the FedEx Office at McCormick Place charges a surcharge for packages. Handling fees will apply to all packages other than letter sized envelopes.
- The FedEx office at McCormick Place does not accept UPS packages.
- For more information, please contact the FedEx Office at McCormick Place at 312-949-2100 or usa5020@fedex.com.
3. Freeman services will be available at the Exhibitor Service Center, located in the center of the Exhibit Hall under the food pods.
- If you will be shipping out via Freeman at the close of the exhibits, please complete the Outbound Shipping Form and return to Freeman in advance of the ASCO Annual Meeting. This will allow Freeman to have your labels and Material Handling Agreement (MHA) prepared in advance.
- Return all completed MHAs to the Freeman Exhibitor Service Center only when your shipment is packed, labeled and ready to be loaded for the outbound carrier.
- Exhibitors are responsible for making arrangements with their individual freight carriers. No arrangements need to be made in advance if you plan on shipping with Freeman Exhibit Transportation. Shipping arrangements with Freeman Transportation can be handled on site.
- Freeman can also handle your outbound FedEx and UPS shipments; however, exhibitors will be responsible for:
- Arranging for pick up by 4:30 PM on Wednesday, June 5
- Submitting a completed Material Handling Agreement to Freeman Exhibitor Service Center when your materials are packed and labeled.
DO NOT leave materials at your booth without making shipping arrangements through the Exhibitor Service Center. Items left without proper paperwork will be returned to the sender and all material handling fees will be charged to your organization. This fee is not the responsibility of ASCO.
