Presenting IPC Global’s pioneering asphalt testing systems for safer and sustainable roads
CONTROLS Inc. will showcase its range of IPC Global asphalt testing systems at the 101st Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting revealing a refreshed brand identity for CONTROLS Inc. and IPC Global, its asphalt and bitumen testing division.
For over 30 years, IPC Global, a leader in the asphalt and bitumen sector, has been developing innovative technologies that improve the efficiency and accuracy of construction materials testing.
We invite you to visit our booth, number 1132, 9–13 January 2022, in Washington, DC.
As part of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, the Transportation Research Board (TRB) provides leadership in transportation improvements and innovation. IPC Global, who joined the event in the past, will take the occasion to showcase its products and services to thousands of transportation professionals.
On display will be two of our Electromechanical Servoactuation (EmS) testing systems. Quiet, clean and environmentally friendly, they require no compressed air or hydraulic power supply. Compact and easy to install, they are also straight-forward to use, affordable, simple and inexpensive to maintain.
Be the first to experience our brand new 50kN capacity automatic Multispeed tester Balanced Loader, able to automatically perform a wide range of tests on asphalt mixes, from traditional Marshall and Indirect Tensile tests to recent SCB (Semi-Circular Bend), IDEAL-CT, IDEAL-RT and interlayer bonding by Shear test. The new controller is pre-programmed with testing procedures conforming to international standards, guiding you from initial set-up through the full test including the critical slope and energy calculations.
In addition, visitors will experience the brand-new Galileo Research, a fully electromechanical asphalt Gyratory Compactor designed with testing accuracy, repeatability, safety, and efficiency in mind. All models use closed-loop control and patented Orbital motion to compact specimens with a level of stiffness and angle stability that far exceed the new requirements of AASHTO T312, ASTM D6925, and EN 12697-31 standards.
