Nova’s Stat Profile Prime Plus is a comprehensive, POC critical care analyzer that offers blood gases, electrolytes, metabolites, hematology, co-oximetry, and 32 calculated results in a simple, compact device. Prime Plus combines maintenance-free, replaceable cartridge technology for sensors and reagents with patented, new, maintenance-free and non-lysing whole blood co-oximetry technology. Test menu includes pH, PCO2, PO2, Na, K, Cl, iCa, iMg, Glucose, Lactate, Urea, Creatinine, Hct, Hb, SO2%, and Co-Ox.

Prime Plus uses a small 135µL sample, produces rapid results—a complete test menu panel in about one minute—and offers bidirectional connectivity, onboard automated QC, and a powerful data management system.

StatStrip Glucose has no known interferences and brings lab-like accuracy to bedside glucose testing— accuracy validated in an FDA submission study of 1,698 critically ill patients with 257 different and specific medical conditions, and over 8,000 medications, as well as over 180 published studies worldwide. StatStrip Glucose measures glucose and corrects for hematocrit, maltose, and other interferences that can cause erroneous results on other meters. Use of any other glucose meter with critically ill patients is considered an off-label use under FDA regulations.
