TRB’s Cooperative Research Program (CRP) division manages national cooperative research programs related to airports, behavioral traffic safety, highways and transit agencies. More than 5000 transportation practitioners and researchers voluntarily serve on more than 600 CRP project oversight panels. Panel members consider research proposals, recommend contract awards, monitor progress of the research conducted by contractors, provide technical guidance, and review final reports.
- Are you interested in volunteering to serve on a project panel?
- Are you interested in responding to RFPs and conducting the research?
CRP staff are holding “office hours” at the TRB Booth and can answer your questions!
The Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP), the Behavioral Traffic Safety Research Program (BTSCRP), the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP), and the Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) are applied, contract research programs that synthesize current practices and develop near-term, practical solutions to problems facing transportation agencies. To learn more about these programs, please visit the TRB booth or look for us online. (http://www.trb.org/CRP/About/DlvD.asp.)
