The Career Fair supports the transportation community’s efforts to build awareness of and expand the transportation workforce. It will be held during the 2023 TRB Annual Meeting and will provide an opportunity for prospective employers from a wide range of sectors and modes to meet with transportation professionals interested in working for their organizations.

Solutions Showcase Theater

Have you ever wished you could highlight the value of your organization in a theater setting, to take advantage of the energy and excitement of TRB’s Annual Meeting and exhibits? Well, now you can! The Solutions Showcase Theater in the exhibit hall will give Annual Meeting exhibitors and patrons the exclusive opportunity to make 30-minute presentations on the goods, services, and solutions their organizations provide.

Solutions Showcase Theater

The Solutions Showcase Theater gives Annual Meeting exhibitors and patrons the exclusive opportunity to make 30-minute presentations to attendees on the goods, services, and solutions their organizations provide.

The theater, which is located in the exhibit hall, will be open on Monday and Tuesday, January 9 and 10, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Each presentation is 30 minutes in length. The first presentation will begin at 9:30 AM and the last will begin at 2:30 PM. Time slots will be configured so that no presentations overlap, making each an exclusive experience for attendees.

The cost per time slot is just $650, and slots are being sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Participation is available only to TRB Annual Meeting exhibitors and patrons. Up to two timeslots may be reserved, but they cannot be on the same day.

Promotion

Promotion of the each showcase is the responsibility of the presenting organization. If the presentation title and description are received by November 4, 2022, TRB will list them in the printed program and in the mobile app. However, TRB strongly recommends that you actively promote attendance at your showcase by email, by advertising in the printed program, and (if you’re an exhibitor) by word of mouth within the exhibit booth.

Theater Setup

The theater will include:

  • Seating for approximately 35 attendees
  • 1 wireless hand-held microphone
  • 1 audio speaker/amplifier
  • 1 monitor (55") with HDMI connector
  • Table at front (for your laptop)
  • Table at back (for any handouts)
  • Carpeting
  • Perimeter drape

Additional Information

Presenters will have access to the theater up to 15 minutes before their presentation is scheduled to start, and they must be out no more than 15-minutes after the conclusion of their presentation.
