• Best Hospitals rankings (Jul 27, 2024)
  Our medical center is one of only 20 hospitals nationwide and five in California to earn a spot on the 2024-25 Best Hospitals Honor Roll. Similar to last year’s survey, the analysis no longer includes numeric Honor Roll rankings, instead underscoring the collective highest quality care provided by our fellow leader institutions. Nearly 5,000 total facilities were evaluated in this year’s report.
  
  Nationally, we ranked in the top 10 in seven specialties: cancer, geriatrics, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, psychiatry, pulmonology and rheumatology. At the state and regional levels, we tied for the best overall hospital in California, were the top-ranked facility in the San Francisco Metro Area and were named the best in Northern California in eight specialties.
