Fraud Alert

Several fraudulent companies, pretending to be associated with the Society and the 20th IMS Annual, may appear in web searches or may have contacted you via email. Fraudulent sites can appear similar to the Society or IMS' sites, in some cases even using the Society’s or IMS' logo. They claim that they can book hotel rooms and/or register you for the IMS, but they are unaffiliated with the Society and the IMS.

To avoid these scams, it is very important that you only book hotel rooms and register through the links provided by the Society. The exclusive and official registration and housing provider for the 20th IMS Annual is SPARGO, Inc. Be sure to verify the site address and/or email address in any link before continuing.

Allied Health Professional (AHP) Registration**

Individuals who provide direct patient care and do not hold a doctoral degree are eligible to register as an Allied Health Professional. This registration category includes, but is not limited to registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical nurse specialists, and pharmacists without a PharmD.

Please have electronic PDF copies of your credentials or an official letter from your institution or employer attesting to your status as an Allied Health Professional available to email after completing your online registration, as they are required for registration approval. You will not be officially registered for the IMS Annual Meeting until the IMS Registration Center confirms your status. Registrants unable to provide proper verification will be directed to register at the non-member rate.

Cancellation/Meeting Registration Conversion Policy

Cancellation requests received in writing to the IMS Annual Registration Center on or before Monday, August 28, 2023, will be refunded, less a $150 processing fee. Cancellations received after August 28, 2023 will not be refunded; however, transfer of your registration to another individual attending in-person is acceptable.

Alternatively, you may convert your in-person registration to a virtual-only registration. All requests to transfer your registration to another in-person delegate or to convert your registration to a virtual-only registration must be received in writing to the IMS Registration Center.
